What happens in a 30 minute appointment

Nothing is decided on your first visit, and nobody in our showroom works on commission.

You sit down with a member of our Brampton team. You will be asked what she wears now, what she has pointed at, and roughly what you want to spend. Then we bring out loose stones that fit.

You look at them yourself, under a loupe, side by side under proper light. We explain what you are actually looking at: cut first, then colour, clarity and carat, and why two stones of the same weight can be priced very differently.

If you want a setting made, it gets drawn on screen while you watch.

Before you decide anything, we walk you through the price as three numbers: the stone, the setting and the labour. Then you go home and think about it. If you never come back, that is fine.

Engagement rings made at our own bench

Every Diamond Bros setting is built and finished at our atelier at Airport & Derry in Mississauga, by hand, by people we employ. Nothing is drop-shipped from a catalogue.

That means a ring made for your Brampton appointment is made the same way as one made for a client in Mississauga, and by the same bench.

Custom engagement rings in Brampton: how it works

1. Your appointment. We talk through her style, your budget and the shape you have in mind.
2. The stone. You see the options loose, before any setting exists, so you are choosing the diamond on its own merits.
3. The drawing. Your setting is rendered on screen at your appointment. You change it until it is right.
4. The bench. Our jewellers build and finish it by hand.
5. Collection. You come back to Brampton to pick it up and we size it on the spot.

A band ordered separately rarely sits flush against an engagement ring. Ours are shaped to the ring we made, so there is no gap and no rocking.

Why we break the price into three numbers

Most people walk into a jewellery store with no way of telling whether they are being quoted fairly, because the number on the tag is one number and it covers everything at once.

We break it into three: what the stone costs, what the setting costs, and what the labour costs. We walk you through each one before you decide anything.

That way you can compare us with anyone else, line by line. A price you can check is a price you can trust, and it is the only way we are willing to quote.

Every Diamond Bros piece also carries our Lifetime Warranty and Care: cleaning, inspection, prong checks and resizing, for as long as you own it.

The jewellers behind the counter

Vishal and Vikram Manjania are sixth-generation jewellers who opened Diamond Bros & Co. in 2018. They choose every stone that comes into our showrooms.

With three locations across the GTA, they cannot be at all of them at once, so our trained team looks after you in store. That is the honest version, and we would rather say it than promise you something we cannot deliver.

Getting to our Brampton showroom

We are at 6201 Mayfield Rd, Unit 56, in the retail plaza at the southeast corner of Mayfield Road and Airport Road.

Parking in the plaza is free.

• From Mayfield West: Take Mayfield Road east. Cross Airport Road and the plaza entrance is on your right.
• From Bolton and east Caledon: Take Highway 50 south and turn right onto Mayfield Road. Drive about 8 km. The plaza is on your left, just before Airport Road.
• From Springdale and Castlemore: Take Countryside Drive to Airport Road and turn north. The plaza is on your right, just before Mayfield Road.
• From Toronto and Highway 410: Take Highway 410 north to the Mayfield Road exit and turn right. Drive about 5 km, cross Airport Road, and the plaza entrance is on your right. If you take Highway 407 (toll), exit at Airport Road and drive north. The plaza is on your right, just before Mayfield Road.
